The Milford Sound – Pure New Zealand Nature (HQ)

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

The Milford Sound is one of the most beautiful places in the Fiordland National Park of New Zealand. Pure nature and breathtaking scenery: water, sea, mountains, rocks, wood, trees, bush, moss, waterfalls, rainbows. Amazing wildlife: seals, dolphins, penguins, birds. The Milford Sound is one of the best known tourist attractions of NZ. 100% Pure New Zealand nature experience. A must do for Kiwi travellers! And also one of the top NZ highlights for tourists from overseas. Milford is by far the best known of all of the fiords and the only one that can be accessed by road. It is approximately 16km from the head of the fiord to the open sea, which means visitors can comfortably travel the length of the fiord to open ocean and return on one of the many cruise options available in one and a half to two hours cruising time. The Maori were the first to attribute the creation of the fiords to a titanic mason, Tute Rakiwhanoa who hued out the steep sided valleys with keen edged adzes. No other explanation seems to fit, as it is impossible to comprehend the sheer breadth of geological events that created this seemingly perfect sculpture, as sheer cliffs rise vertically upward from the ocean. The best way to discover is a Overnight Cruise because the Sound is silent at night. But also day cruises are a good experience. There are several cruise-operators in the Milford Sound: Real Journeys, Red Boat Cruises, Mitre Peak Cruises and others. The Milford Sound is one of the top tourist

Spin The Globe – East Coast of Australia.wmv

Monday, May 17th, 2010

Spin the Globe is a car and travel-adventure series that is not necessarily about the cars, but where they can take you and the experiences you can have. Kurt and Tristan, two best mates, come to the realisation the ‘real world’ isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and instead decide go on some of the dream road trips they have always talked about. Together, they travel to some unusual and crazy places driving exotic and unexpected cars, meet some amazing locals, embrace international stereotypes and find adventures you wouldn’t normally experience on a typical holiday. The series isn’t about creating predictable travel documentaries, but is about making people laugh, think and dream to get out there and see the world for themselves in whatever way they can. www.myspace.com/spintheglobetv
