Expired: Bournemouth Poole Hubworld 20th 21st June 2008
Hubworld is a celebration of a three-year project called the Bournemouth and Poole Cultural Hub. The Cultural hub has brought together local schools and cultural organisations to create inspiring learning opportunities for children and young people. We’ve worked with museums, galleries, theatres, libraries, archives, orchestras and a host of teachers, artists and creative people, not to mention some amazing children and young people. Hubworld is a two-day celebration that seeks to give you a taste of the ideas, concepts, skills and partnerships that have characterised the last three years. It all happens down on the beach at Alum Chine, and you are invited to come and join us. It’s free. Be a part of the celebrations.

The Sandworlds will be laid out along the beach either side of Alum Chine for the public to visit on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Each Sandworld has different elements of performance, including dance, drama, storytelling, animation & film. There are lots of opportunities to join in, get creative and make your own contribution.
