TAURINORUM TRAVEL TEAM @ THE ADVENTURISTS AFRICA RALLY 2009
The Adventurists Africa Rally is a charity expedition from London to Cameroon that takes place once a year since 2008. The Taurinorum Travel Team from Turin, with an old 1987 Fiat Panda 4×4, was the first italian team (together with nobrain team from Rome) that participated at the the rally since it has been internationally launched in 2008. The team members were Carlo Alberto Biscaretti di Ruffia, Ludovico de Maistre and Paolo Rignon, very good friends in life with a passion for adventure, travel, nature and photography. Only 17 teams arrived untill the end, in the coastal city of Limbe, near the slopes of Mount Cameroon. All the cars have been sold for charity during an auction and the entire event rised more than 60.000 GBP (about 70.000 euro). The Taurinorum Travel Team is now preparing a new no limits expedition with a Panda, but destionation and details are still top secret.

Se non mi sbaglio questa era la macchina di una ragazza che conosco (Ilaria M., studentessa di medicina a Torino ma originaria della Valle d’Aosta). Se la macchina fosse quella sappiate che già quando ci salivo diversi anni fa mi piaceva un casino…ora che il mitico Pandino ha questi incredibili trascorsi l’invidia per il mezzo sale alle stelle! Complimenti per aver compiuto un’ impresa di quelle che molti amici sognano e quasi nessuno realizza! Grandi!
Grandissimi!! Tra voi e quelli che han fatto il Mongol Rally con la Panda nel 2008 c’avere “fregato” l’idea (che mi sa rimarrà irrealizzata) a me e ad un amico di fare una cosa simile col pandino!!
