This is the only negative lonelyplanet youtube feature that I’ve seen thus far… I can’t speak for their books, but try watching some of their other videos.

talking about spoiled brats, and this is the lonely planet staff? jeez, I guess I know who their books are aimed to. sheltered students!!

  3. pklama1 says:

I think the people who are traveling here and recording all these are just students or young people who has never been outside of their own country that is why your mind is conditioned to see the negativity only. I would rather pause for a second and see how these people are living. That is their lives. Do you think that your frustration will change the attitude of Nepali People? Do you recommend people to travel to Nepal or discourage? Think first and say. Thank you and Namaste.

i am from nepal… i know kathmandu is polluted and pokhara is ike a paradise. only thing i did not like was you saw only the accident and the crowds but you missed all the beautiful scenaries on the way…. try to look at the positive sides before going to negative sides of any country…if you only see pollutiond and the crowds in the developing country and you do not enjoy it then stop making programmes and giving total false impression.. please
